On January 22^nd , 2022, Manassas Assembly hosted a paint night.  We ended up painting a very beautiful purple water scene with a dock- and it was all led by Allison, who is absolutely amazing at painting, and we couldn’t thank her enough!  Every painting looked beautiful, and we even had a few people go “rouge” and paint their own beautiful masterpiece!  We all had a really fun time and it was a great way to just relax a bit.  I can’t wait for the next one.

On January 16^th, 2022, Manassas Assembly had their laser tag event.  We ended up going to Uptown Alley.  We all arrived and decided to start with bowling, there were 2 teams of girls, and we had a lot of fun.  After we finished with bowling, we all got super excited and headed over to the laser tag portion.  We got all geared up and immediately started forming alliances… and of course talked a lot of smack to the others to get in the spirit of the game.  We played a few rounds and had a blast while doing it!  Then after we finished, some girls went out for food, and we all headed home.

On May 28^th, 2022, Manassas Assembly hosted a Kings Dominion trip!  This in my opinion was one of the most fun events of the term.  We all got to the park around 11am and immediately went to the first ride in the park called the “Dominator”.  After that we met up with the rest of the group and decided to break off into smaller groups and ride as many rides as we could.  It was SO much fun and another great bonding experience for everyone.  Even though I’m pretty sure half of us including me lost our voices for a few days from all the screaming… it was SO worth it in the end! Can’t wait for the next Kings Dominion trip (:

On February 26^th , 2022, Manassas Assembly played the game Clue… live!! It was a lot of fun and a great new experience.  I love playing the board game, and I thought it would be cool to do it in real life.  At first it was difficult deciding on how to do it, but we ended up finding a version that was possible to play in real life, and wow- it was so much fun.  We started out by hiding about 50 envelopes around the lodge, each one containing a card, these cards were either suspects, rooms, weapons, or even role cards!  After they were all hidden, we were set off to find them and however many you found is what you were stuck with.  Once they were all found, the game began and we had to find out the murderer, room, and weapon by the information we had.  There were alliances, trickery, and more… it was so much fun!  I think it was really creative and would definitely do it again!
